Our customers are district heating companies and grid companies with the need of collecting high quality meter values with easy administration. Our solutions provide meter data every minute to cover all needs within the industry.

District heating companies

A common district heating company has about 1000 meters installed in an area. Our products communicate through the existing GSM/GPRS infrastructure, which allow the customer to focus on installing meters instead of planning and building a new infrastructure.

We deliver integrated products for companies that are planning to exchange existing meters or purchase new meters. The CMi2110 is compatible with Landis+Gyr UH50 and CMi2130 is compatible with Itron CF/ECHO.

The M-Bus master CMe2100 with GSM/GPRS communication allows companies to collect meter values from any existing meter following the M-Bus standard. The CMe2100 uses 230 VAC and starts logging meter data directly after power up. 

Grid companies

There are grid companies of various sizes among our customers, both in the rural and the urban areas. Our products communicate through the existing GSM/GPRS infrastructure, which allow the customer to focus on installing meters instead of planning and building a new infrastructure.

Elvaco has, together with Landis+Gyr, developed internal masters for the meters Flex 1 and 2 (E350). The meter can be ordered with a disconnector and can be updated remotely.  Our M-Bus slave CMi10 can be mounted inside the meter and is the perfect solution for meter room solutions. For installations in the field, the M-Bus master CMi2120 with GSM/GPRS communication is the perfect solution.

Technical solutions

Both integrated and external masters from Elvaco can handle up to 8 M-Bus slaves. They can read meter values from any M-Bus meter within 1000 meters from the installation site. With extension module CMeX10-CMeX13, up to 256 M-Bus slaves can be read with only one M-Bus master.

The master is installed with an SMS, which allows the unit to automatically start searching for connected meters. The unit delivers immediate installation status through email, FTP or HTTP, which gives the electrician a confirmation of a successful installation. It also gives the operating staff information about who installed the master.

Our products are able to deliver correct data to a billing system or database for meter values without expensive server software systems.
