Other industries
Elvaco is a supplier of communication equipment for automatic meter reading. Our products offer a wide range of possibilities such as measuring of charging poles, solar power and climate in greenhouses.
Our customers
Our customers are companies with the need of collecting meter values with automatic meter reading. All of our products are built on established standards which allow fast and easy implementation to existing billing and reporting systems.

The electric car industry is increasing and a need of measuring and controlling charging poles has developed. Elvaco has together with ABB developed a solution for measuring and controlling charging poles. It includes the M-Bus master CMe2100 with GSM/GPRS communication, the I/O module CMeX40 for controlling breakers and an electricity meter from ABB for registration of the consumed energy.
Some of our customers need to measure 0-10 V or 0-20 mA converted to an arbitrary value, for example to measure the oxygen level in the water in salmon farms. The CMe2100, together with additional products from Relay, starts delivering measurements directly after installation. The meter values can be sent in an email to an optional recipient.
The ability to collect meter values from all M-Bus meters and send them through email, FTP and HTTP is what makes our masters unique.
Technical solutions
All products from Elvaco are following established standards, which mean that they can replace any similar standard product in an installation without being dependent of a certain supplier.
Our products are communicating through the European standard M-Bus, which mean that they can easily be added to any existing installation following the M-Bus standard.
The CMe2100 offers a wide range of possibilities. Automatic meter reading has gone from being difficult and proprietary to fast and easy with products from Elvaco. We deliver products that collect meter values with no extra cost for integration.
Our products are able to deliver correct data to a billing system or database for meter values without expensive server software systems.
