Elvaco Edge is now available in a rugged, IP65-rated enclosure, offering reliable protection against rain, dust, and other challenging outdoor conditions. The new UV-resistant grey plastic is engineered to retain its appearance and structural integrity even after prolonged exposure to sunlight—making it ideal for long-term outdoor installations.

Fully compatible with all M-Bus meters conforming to EN 13757 (EN 1434) and OMS standards, Elvaco Edge ensures broad interoperability. The gateway communicates via LTE-M and NB-IoT mobile networks, supporting up to 256 wired M-Bus meters (4T) and more than 1,000 wireless M-Bus meters. With outstanding wireless M-Bus reception sensitivity, it performs reliably even in complex environments. Variants with an SMA connector are also available for connecting an external antenna when required.

Elvaco Edge offers versatile power supply options, featuring a best-in-class battery solution. Depending on deployment needs, the gateway is powered via an integrated power supply unit (PSU) or battery. Battery-powered devices deliver over 10 years of operation under optimal conditions and recommended configurations—making it one of the most efficient solutions on the market.
