Leadership transition at Elvaco

We’re delighted to announce that Erik Wikström has been appointed CEO of Elvaco!

After nearly 25 years at Elvaco, including 16 as CEO, David Vonasek is stepping down to pursue new challenges beyond Elvaco and Bemsiq. While the decision was not easy, David leaves with deep pride in the company’s transformation—from a family business to an international player with 80 employees and a strong presence across Europe, the Middle East, and North America. He also played a key role in Bemsiq’s growth into a 600-person business unit spanning 17 countries. The successful collaboration between Elvaco and Elsys stands as a testament to his lasting impact.

David extends his heartfelt thanks to colleagues and partners from across the years and is excited for the future. He also warmly welcomes Erik Wikström as the new CEO, confident that Erik will take Elvaco and Elsys to the next level.

Erik now steps into the CEO role following a long and dedicated tenure at Elvaco—most recently serving as CCO and deputy CEO. With a strong commercial background, inclusive leadership style, and deep industry knowledge, Erik is well-positioned to lead Elvaco into its next chapter.
