Elvaco Edge Gateway brings versatile power supply options with best-in-class battery-driven gateway for wired and wireless meters. It is possible to connect any M-Bus meter conforming to EN 13757 (EN1434) and OMS. Elvaco Edge communicates through the mobile networks using LTE-M and NB-IoT. The gateway supports 256 wired M-Bus meters (4T/128T) + more than 1000 wM-Bus meters

Elvaco Edge can be powered by power supply unit (PSU) or battery. For battery gateways, the lifetime is 10+ years in good conditions and recommended configurations. For areas with low reception an external antenna can be attached to the MCX connector of your Edge. Elvaco Edge has an extremely high sensitivity on wireless M-Bus reception, and there are variants that have an SMA connector for attaching an external wireless M-bus antenna.
